Found her in Minnesota!

Stacey Champion, Woman Who Tried To Mail Puppy, Wants Dog And Postage A woman who tried to mail a puppy in a box from Minnesota to Georgia now wants the puppy back, along with the $22 she paid to ship the dog.

When Stacey Champion first brought the box to the post office, she warned postal workers to be careful, but reassured them that she was shipping a toy robot. But when the box began to move and make noise, workers got permission to open it, and found a 4-month old puppy inside named Guess, a black poodle-Schnauzer mix. The postal workers gave the thirsty pup some water, and now he's at an animal control facility.

Prior to notifying authorities that she wanted the dog back, Champion returned to the post office demanding a refund of the $22 she paid to mail the puppy, in addition to requesting that a small amount of money attached to a makeshift dog collar be returned.

The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports:

Postal workers nixed the refund and told her to contact law enforcement about the collar currency. "We asked her, don't you want to know about your puppy? But she said no. She just wanted her money back," [post office supervisor Thompson] Ojoyeyi said.

Stacey Champion meanwhile has been charged with animal cruelty. She recently attended a hearing to request getting the dog back, but the request was denied. A hearing officer is seen telling her in this CNN report, "You cannot tell me that you thought you were doing the right thing."

But Champion claims that she did in fact think that what she was doing was not only right, but a nice gesture. Champion explains that she intended to send the puppy to her son on his birthday because she "wanted to surprise him really, really good." She poked holes in the box (which later were covered up by tape) and argues, "They don't have a display of what should be shipped and what should not be shipped." According to the Star Tribune, Champion wrote on the outside of the package, "This is for your 11th birthday. It's what you wanted." However, it seems unlikely that a child would want a dead puppy for his birthday, which would likely have been Guess' fate had postal workers not intercepted the package.

Why is it that people have put this whole dog abuse thing on M. Vick? Has anyone here seen Animal Hoarding on Animal Planet? Where is Peta in all those cases which are on national T.V.? They dont care about animals they just care about going after the publicity to get more donations. I think it is B.S. to still be calling out Michael Vick for something that he didn't start. They did a show on HBO about dog fighting that lasted a hour to hour and a half and Michaell Vick didnt even have a guest appearance. All I'm saying is M. Vick did his time. If he does something else start on him again but until then give it a break.

Just another one for you.

An ethnical woman was ranting and raving to a school board member about the supposed cruel treatment her daughter got at her new Jr. High School.

Supposedly everyone was mocking her daughter and not calling her by her correct name.

Get this: The school teachers and the principal were calling her daughter Lahyphena, Laya and some other names that were incorrect.

Her daughters LEGAL spelling of her name was L-a

When the school board member asked her to pronounce her name after seeing the spelling the mother said her name is Ladasha. "The DASH in her name it don't be silent" she told the board member.

Now if that doesn't show dumbassery at it's finest I don't know what does.

:shake:

First of all, how does the "L" part of her name get a pronunciation of "La"?

Second, what's so cruel about mispronouncing her name? They weren't saying "Oh...L-a must stand for Lazy Ass (or Lickin' Ass, Lumpy Ass, etc.) so that's what we'll call you from now on". I figure her name had been said incorrectly as long as she could remember so the girl probably was used to it and didn't do or say much to let others know that they'd said her name wrong.

Third, it would probably behoove this mother to follow in the footsteps of another mother (who most of us are familiar with) who copyrighted the name of her son...who I shall refer to only as "Curtis B****" (and he got SLAPPED!)...and do the same for her daughter.

My bad

The name was La-a

I just didn't proof read my post. I got busy. :doh!:

The whole this was supposed to bring out the fact the dumbasses like this woman think that every gawdammed thing should be a given for them and GIVEN to them. HTF is anyone except her, her daughter and her immediate f***ing family supposed to know what her name is?

If she spent as much time trying to better herself as she did in thinking of this rediculous gawdamn name that NO ONE knew how to pronounce she would have figured out that it was a farking stupid ass name to begine with. Just IMO of course. :D

He deserves every bit of scorn and ridicule he gets.
