It's a new firewall panel. Gives your firewall a nice, clean smooth look and gets rid of the factory heater box bulge.

The common name for something similar to this would be "beauty panel" but we're looking for something a bit more masculine than that. Any ideas?

**BTW, if you don't know, the firewall is the wall at the back of the engine compartment where your brake booster, etc all bolts onto.**

Notice how the door handles have been removed and smoothed over? They call this "shaved door handles". I would call your kit a "firewall shave kit". Seriously, Gear Heads will understand exactly what it is from that description.

I've never understood why removing door handles is considered cool.

Just a smoother look. I kinda like the look personally.
As far as how useful it is, probably not so much.

Yeah.....but anything can be a "Pony Panel" on a Mustang.

And on certain models Pony is an overused prefix on factory parts. The "pony interior" etc.

All sales are final unless defects are present. Especially on custom ordered products.

But I appreciate the effort Rain Man.

Ima invest in one of those home brewery kits. You'll be the first to have one. Then let me know if it's worth drinking or not.

Those right there are the key words which immediately created an unforgettable image in my head of the appearance of this panel.

Therefore, in lieu of the original proposed name of "Clam" submitted by FAX, I'm inclined to build upon that very word...

Ladies and gentlemen, I give thee: Clameltoe

Does the use of your product preclude the use of the little door to stash a bottle of Jim Beam?

I work with a woman who recently leased a new Cadillac with no door handles. You should have seen her trying to get in her car those first couple of days.

But that thing sure is pretty.
