SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Former Kansas City Chiefs running-back Ed Podolak is hospitalized in Arizona after he was hit by a car.

Scottsdale police say the 63-year-old Podolak was not inside a crosswalk when he was hit. Officers say the driver of the car that hit Podolak tried to brake but couldn't stop fast enough. His injuries are described as non-life-threatening.

The University of Iowa graduate spent all nine of his NFL seasons with the Chiefs. Podalak rushed for 4,451 yards and 34 touchdowns. He's the Chiefs fourth all-time leading rusher. Podalak has spent the last three decades as a color commentator for Iowa Hawkeyes football.

Stay down bitch.

Norman is pissed off. He's clearly disowned this site AND the chiefs. He's even making mults to prove it.

This is at least somewhat of a good sign that he might be okay
