My truck was broken into a week ago....they leaned in the passenger side window, rummaged through the glovebox and console, taking nothing. I had a nice Dewalt cordless combo kit and a few other things in the back seat, and a ladder in the bed.

I think they were afraid if the opened the door an alarm would go off.I had something similar happen a few months ago. Some asshole broke into my jeep and all they took was a power adapter for my cell phone and they took everything out of my glove box and left it all in my front seat. In the back of my Jeep I had over 300 dollars in tools that they didn't touch.

My dad said that most people who break into cars don't have much use for tools that one could do an honest days work with.
