I'm taking a class in behavioral research methods and we are developing a survey. I could use the assistance of up to 10 people. Wish I could pay you for your work, but I can't. I guess I could give out rep or my limited casino cash if anyone is interested in that.

In any case, if you are willing to participate, here's what necessary.

1) Go to this link: http://websort.net/s/C4095D/
2) Read the short introduction carefully
3) Follow the directions closely
4) Be sure to click "I'm Done" when you are done
5) If you are going to participate, please take the exercise seriously

You will be asked to categorize a list of about 140 words into groups of similar words based on your views of the words.

Thanks in advance!

Is something going to jump out? Because I'm in a computer lab right now and I have a weak bladder.

Task completed! I wish you the best in this endeavor!
P.S. The word "Trustworthy" is listed twice.

If I kill myself while doing this will my family receive proper compensation?

I thought it was interesting. The tool was easy to use, though after a while my screen filled up and the exercise got harder just because I had some categories that were covered up and not visible at first glance.

As an aside, there were two misspelled words but I can't remember what they were.

I did it, but was getting fatigued at around 70 words. It became harder to accurately categorize words. Your survey loses information when you wear down the respondent.

I would agree with this. I had a morale crisis partway through when I thought I'd made good process and then noticed that I still had 70 words left.

Thanks guys! I agree with the list being too long. 70 would have be a good length, but I didn't know which 70, so I just used all 140. Thanks for sticking it out.

Will you post the conclusions of your study?

I'm going to be doing another round here in a little bit... different format and fewer numbers of words. Should be much simpler.
