3. Colin Kaepernik
3(tied). Leonard Hankerson
4. Phil Taylor

I should mention the selection should be "realistic."

Obviously Green and Gabbert are Top 10s.

Wilkerson I whiffed on, though. Now that I see the list, I whiffed on Carimi, too.

Kaepernick and Hankerson are clear reaches at 21.

I bet Wilkerson's stock rises 2 weeks out.

And those other feller's were further down the list for a reason, but I still wouldn't be upset.

I voted trade down this would be a great year to do so. I don't see a difference between a guy going at 21 and someone in the middle of the second round.

Now that I think about it I'd love to trade our first this year for some sort of pick and a teams first next year. With our brutal schedule and shitty QB we'll have atleast a top 15 pick and another first rounder. My fantasy would to be trade both to get Andrew Luck. Now stand up and tell me you don't have wood.

I'm sorry, he's a really good player. This is a really deep draft for those players.

If we aren't going to take a QB, and there isn't value there for OLB, I'd view that as acceptable given the alternatives.

I'd love for us to take a NT in this draft, but Phil Taylor is not worth that pick. Not even close. Besides, it's not like Tito Jackson has proven anything at LDE. I think that's a defensible selection. The guy lost his job to UFL trash last year.

i am totally flabbergasted by this draft...just haven't watched many of the players this year, so i have no idea about the relative merits of the players


it won't be as much fun when I can't beg pioli to shoot himself in the face on draft day...

my main hope, i think, is that we trade down and get a extra 3rd...

Need a new CBA before the draft for this to happen. I was all for this, and still am, but don't see it really happening now.
