Mel Kiper Jr. has his final mock draft as the Kansas City Chiefs selecting Wisconsin OT Gabe Carimi at #21. He had the Chiefs taking UCLA OLB Akeem Ayers before hand.
Here is what he said about the pick...
"The Chiefs have a need here and if they want to get back to that power running game that's defined them over the years, and Carimi is a safe pick. Todd Haley will like a player with his versatility and power and the Chiefs have an immediate plug-and-play. Carimi has gone up against some of the best and handled them. Scott Pioli runs a good show, and this is a smart pick as they continue to build a team on the rise."

OL picks are never "sexy".
IMO, you guys should get Ingram if he's there at 21.

We need a pass rusher

That definitely isn't going to be the best player on the board.

Getting cockpunched is better than Watkins.

It could happen. TJ won't be around forever, and I know you don't want him to be.

A headon collision with an aids tree while riding a seatless bike is better than Watkins.

You obviously pay little attention to how our GM operates.

Please explain.
Do you expect him to run TJ until he breaks a leg at which point he'll shoot him in the head? I would think he'd have a contingency plan in place.

The only thing wrong with Watkins is that he's 27. He only has another 7-8 years left to solidify you interior front.

I don't think I'd ever draft a 27 year old. I might throw a late 7 at one if he's a superstar, but give me a break!

A first round contingency plan? LOL, I think we're done here.

He's worth a 2nd round pick to a team that has a big need at guard and is built to win now.
Colts, Jets and Steelers come to mind.

Thank you. That was my point.
I figured you guys were dilusional enough to put youselves in the company of the above mentioned teams, however, 7 to 8 years ain't bad for any team.
He's a 2nd rounder for sure.
