I had a buddy who ran an ad in the paper once "Bowflex $100, Call Chubby 555-1212" and gave our friends phone number.

Hilarity ensued.

Good price. I think mine was around $650 but that included shipping. I think. It's been awhile since I got it though.

I think it's really good equipment for the older folks since it doesn't have free weights. It feels less risky for injury.

I'm not a big fan of the Bowflex. I had one for 3 years and wore it out because I used it 2 hours at a time for three hours a day.

I keep telling myself I will use it for a month or two then it will collect dust. But I really need something around the home because I hate going to the gym and my powerblock dumbbells aren't anywhere near heavy enough anymore.

Do they have a workout to strengthen your sarcasm detector?

I've never known anyone to have one and use it after the initial novelty wore off.

Spend your money on some free weights and a smith machine.

I got my third elliptical in 2 years. I keep breaking them. But that's cuz I buy the cheap shit ones for 50 bucks on Craigslist.

I just bought a Schwinn 420. pretty sturdy. If I had more room I'd be interested in a Bowflex, but for now, at least I'm doing the cardio. If I ever do decide to get one, I'd get one used on craiglist. They are going for nothing because most people hang clothes on them.

Thats just it. I used to have free weights but nowhere to put them. They were always in the way. Plus the need to have a spotter. I got rid of all of them and just went to dumbbells and a small bench but my powerblock isn't big enough now.

I haven't found a single bowflex xtreme for $500 yet in my area. cheapest used one I have come across is $700.

Just get a shake weight and call it good. Those guys bodies on the commercials look exactly like the ones in the bow flex commercials. So it must work

I don't want to be so strong in the arms that I can't masterbate without the fear of ripping my junk from my body. Completely unacceptable.
