VOLUNTEER IN PERSON - Volunteer efforts are being coordinated through Missouri Southern State University.
Many people have contacted the City of Joplin to volunteer assistance to the victims of the storm. ALL citizen volunteers should report to the Recreation Center at Missouri Southern State University. Volunteers’ services are appreciated, but to be effective, will need to be coordinated through this centralized location. Citizens are reminded that the American Red Cross, in cooperation with the City, has set up a shelter at Missouri Southern State University in the Leggett & Platt Center.

Columbia area blood donors needed:

Here's some info I got from my work e-mail

Message relay from Troop F @ 2120 hours:

In reference to the SEMA Incident the command post is currently operational in the Troop D Joplin area. Due to an overwhelming number of Volunteers, SEMA officials are not currently requesting any further outside assistance until further notice.

More relief organizations:

Missourians interested in volunteering to assist should call (800) 427-4626 or 2-1-1. Those with medical skills interested in volunteering should go to: https://www.showmeresponse.org

Missourians wishing to make donations to help with the relief effort can go to http://www.sema.dps.mo.gov/recover/donations.asp or call (800) 427-4626 or 2-1-1.

Emergency blood drive this afternoon - Monday 5/23

The blood drive will be from 2 to 7 p.m. in the Cass County Room at 211 W. Armour Blvd.

Meanwhile, the Community Blood Center is requesting area residents to donate blood this week to help support the rescue efforts in Joplin.

The blood bank has shipped 15 units of blood to the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks. Local hospitals are performing surgeries on some of the victims and the need for blood will increase as the rescue efforts continue.

Guys, think what you will... but this storm was DEFINITELY modified. I watched it on radar yesterday... and they've really been pounding the midwest with these storms lately. This is no bullshit.

I've seen many, many of the scalar rings on radar late at night over the past couple months, and every time that these circles pop up on radar... BOOM. A huge storm hits the area within a day or two. It's like clockwork.

Sometimes the circles are more visible than others, but when you've been watching for them, you see the footprint of weather modification.

My heart goes out to the people in Joplin. I've not heard back from a couple of my friends and one family member, yet.

Lot's of things... but they all feed into the same shit.

It's sad, but I've seen this shit happen several times over the past few months.

The tornadoes in North Carolina were predicted 2 days before due to these rings.

All of these storms are flooding the Mississippi area... also, a lot of these storms rotate like hurricanes on land, which is totally abnormal.

It's sad. I have most likely lost some family and friends. But, it's NOT an act of nature, IMO.

who is making tornadoes and why?

They aren't "making tornadoes", they are sending high frequencies into the areas and massive storms then pop up.

It happens time after time when these rings pop up. I don't fully understand it...

but, I've been watching them for about 2-3 months now... and most of the times, the rings show up on radar LAAATE at night... and within a couple of days a HUGE storm hits that area.

So, maybe it's a coincidence, but I don't believe that. If it happened infrequently, I'd say it was a coincidence... when it happens most everytime, it's a pattern.

The problem with the hospital is that while they probably had multiple generators to back up the power grid, those generators could have been destroyed. Patients on life-saving equipment, drug dose machines, and monitors could have all been taken out. Add the fragile state of people who are hospitalized, and it gets kinda scary.

I am just heartbroken for all those people...and for those of you who can't get in touch with friends/family in the area.

St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin is being fully evacuated, after the hospital was directly hit by a tornado Sunday afternoon, said Cora Scott, spokeswoman for St. John’s Health System in Springfield.

“We are not sure of the safety of the building,” Scott said.

Damage to the building is extensive, as its windows were blown out and its roof was taken off, she said.

Scott said patients from Joplin will be accommodated in St. John’s facilities in Springfield and surrounding area.

Thanks man. I hope everyone's family is safe. I grew up there from age 2-5.

All bullshit aside, if you watch the radar animation, on one or two frames you will sometimes see near perfect circles and sometimes squares and rectangles that form an anomoly in the radar pattern. Most of the time there is NO storm in the area, just a circle randomly popping up... 1-3 days later a huge storm hits there.

I've seen it at least 15 times in the past 2 months.

I should create a thread and discuss the consistency of this data.

There are plenty of videos that prove it. http://youtube.com/user/dutchsinse does a video on every ring that he finds. I don't. I just look for the rings then watch in amazement after it hits the exact area, time after time after time.

And it sucks, because each time... people's families are impacted by these storms and the Mississippi gets more flooded, which will eventually trigger the New Madrid. That's my hypothesis, anyway.

From KOAM's website, one of the local TV stations in Joplin:

http://tinyurl.com/3dk4bt6

Updated at 10:45PM CST: At least 25 confirmed dead at the command post.

Updated 8:45 PM CST: KOAM photographer Crystal Albright was at 15th and Range Line. She says the Burger King is gone. King's Palace was catching on fire at the time.

A tractor trailer was turned over near the 15th Street Walmart. Plaza apartments and storage facilities behind the Walmart at 15th street also received damage.

Updated 8:40 PM CST: KOAM Chief Videographer Aaron Thompson was at 20th and Rhode Island and says damage at Commerce Bank, Papa Johns. Damage going east is "worse and worse". Says he was unable to get to Range Line from that direction.

"I didn't know where I was... street signs are just gone".

Updated 7:45 PM CST: Joplin High School has been severely damaged. The graduation was today, but was held at Missouri Southern.

Posted 7:40 PM CST: Tornadoes touch down in Joplin leaving a path of destruction throughout the city.

Power lines and phone lines are down. Communications are difficult.

Starting at 20th and Rangeline a tornado destroyed countless buildings throughout the area.

At the 15th and Rangeline Walmart ambulances lined the street as emergency rescue officials across the Four-States have responded to rescue hundreds of residents trapped inside the building.

St. John's hospital was also hit hard by the tornado. One resident living nearly 45-miles away from the hospital says his yard is now full of debris from the hospital-- medical supplies and x-rays.

Officials say the hospital is severely damaged. Chunks of the building were taken out and windows were blown out.

Eastbound and westbound I-44 is closed at mile marker 18 near Joplin due to overturned tractor trailers during severe weather.

Got taken down, but if you look on Google maps, go from Maiden Lane on the west side of town. Then draw a swath between 32nd and 20th streets with the line bending northeast over 20th street after crossing Main, then up over 15th street towards 7th. That's a rough estimate of the footprint the tornado left.

http://www.dutchsinse.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/dallas-radar-ring-april-19-20-1024x612.png

It's very peculiar. Not all of the radar rings are this pronounced. This one is rare, IMO.

My theory is this... they seed the clouds with airplanes that leave those lingering contrail/chemtrails. They then send a charge or something into the area, that puts a charge on the dust particle. Then rain must form on those dust particles or something. Highly charged dust particles could then create powerful electric storms.

The first instance that I was aware of potential weather modification was the 2008 Olympics in China. They had to keep away the storms for 08-08-2008 which was a very special date for them.

USA TODAY: China aims to control Olympics weather (http://www.usatoday.com/weather/research/2008-02-29-china-weather_N.htm)

And so there is a lot of evidence of technologies pertaining to potential weather modification/manipulation.

I think it's safe to say that they have figured some shit out.
