I think the system had died down before it got to us. We had some nice time in the stairwell though.

No shit.

It's raining in Columbia right now. Raining hard, yes, but only raining. There's a hook echo in Montgomery City - east of here - but there are no sirens or anything.

Yet we have 6 of our people (predictably women) huddling into an office in the center of our building instead of doing their !@#$ing jobs right now.

Just absurd. I am comfortable telling anyone I ever speak to "No, you're not going to get killed by a tornado." The odds of me being right are probably better than the odds of me being right in regards to any other proclamation I ever make.

Settle the !@#$ down, people.

I can confirm from this shot I took from downtown KC looking north that things are ok and I am alive.

If you need a picture of me with a current newspaper for more validation I am happy to do so.

I was at Oak Park mall when it came into Overland Park, they moved everyone down to the first floor service tunnels and just about all the stores closed as well. I saw as it was heading into downtown it looked wicked.

While we're at it, can the beautiful, rich blonds with proportionate figures from Overland Park check in, too? I kinda miss them sometimes.

I don't know where this is, I just grabbed it off the internet. But if the rain hadn't stopped then....whew. Pretty scary. Luckily we just had spring showers off and on all day. Like dodging a bullet.

This shit started about 5 miles south of the house i was at, the time. Heard the warning on the radio as i was turning off the customers street, then sirens. Played it safe and took cover at tanners on 119th st. Most of us were keeping calm but a couple of the waitresses were crying... After the police told us to take cover, we ended up crowding in the cooler for a few minutes, then went outside and watched it move north. What was interesting was the weather after the threat had passed. It made the "Don't like the weather? Wait 5 minutes and the it will change" a literal statement. It was hot and muggy one minute, and then it would cool off and rain the next, then heat back up real quick.
