I think the question should have been which TV character does the person who posted just before you bring to mind.

My answer for myself, however, would be Red, though I don't resemble him physically in any way.

As much as I would like to be the ladies man Chase is or even the quick witted ass House is, I'm probably more in between those extremes:

Xander from Buffy. Not a perfect fit, but first one that comes to mind.

This lady who was probably in her 50's told me I looked like the guy from prison break. I'd never seen the show, so i google image searched and concluded that she was either drunk or legally blind. Either way it was a nice compliment.

Personality wise, Turtle from entourage.

You know when they have a scene at a restaurant where the star is making a scene and there's madcap hilarity or tense drama, and then in the background you see some extras who are eating their dinner and making small talk and not appearing to notice what's happening nearby? I'm one of those people.

If I had to be one of the stars, I sure associate with Kevin on The Wonder Years. Or maybe Darryl on Newhart (not the handsome one, the other one).

Not a TV character, but I've gotten Trent Green and Ben Affleck from people.

Booger from Revenge of the Nerds

Everybody wants to be like Booger. Stop being like everybody.

I'm like the fonz from the first few season of Happy Days.

How? He's a kid. You're old. This does not make sense.

Do you associate with his older voice? If that's the case, it'd be nice if you could clarify.

He was a child, but he had the wisdom of a much older man. And I am a much older man, but I have the wisdom of a child. You average those out and it's a strong match.

Hmm. My kids tell me that I am a cross between Dr. Cox and the janitor from Scrubs.

What did you do with them, and where did those people get them to begin with?

I don't get that at all.

There was a Ellery Queen series on TV years ago with Jim Hutton as Ellery Queen.

That's who I think of when I read your posts.

Hmm. I never watched that. I'll have to check it out to see if I should be flattered or insulted.

You've become synonymous with Red to me, but that branding has been fed to me.

I am most frequently compared to Topher Grace from "That 70's Show."

I've been told I look like John Turturro, although I don't see it. So if we can count films, I'm this dude.

I've been called Jim from the office numerous times...probably because I make a lot of random facial expressions in response to people talking.
