She said they were all such kind and caring people, and only wanted the best people to be employed by the Royals. When they left and passed on, it sure was the end of a good era in Kansas City

Ummmmmmm, I thought we were all waiting for 2014/15. Then when leadership indicates that they're actually rebuilding (a 5-year plan or something like that!) after selling our developed talent, we'll be on our way to waiting for 2019/20.

We're a small market team, and there's no way we can compete, simply no way!! All those small market teams that have competed and won were just lucky, or had really savvy people running the club (obviously we're NOT plauged with THAT ailment!!). So we'll just need to make sure we place the 3x5, lazer etched "Best Minor League System Playing in the Bigs" placard front-and-center in our dusty trophy case. Do we have a trophy case anymore? Perhaps our owner uses the trophy case to hide the extra revenue-sharing cash that he pockets. LOL, who'd think of finding anything in our trophy case???!!!

OK, rant done... Let's move on to tomorrow...

Not that we care (because we don't mind losing at all) but the Twins fan board is basically laughing their ass off at us. They say they're going to sweep us at Kauffman with a AAA lineup.

So far, so good.

BTW: At this point in the season, only 4 MLB teams have a lower average home attendance than KC: Oakland, Tampa Bay, Florida and Cleveland. And we're less than 1000 per night ahead of Oakland and Cleveland.

We're only 4.5 games out of AL Worst. If we can continue this momentum over the next couple weeks, no sweat sewing up that first draft pick. We've got oodles of money to pay the first overall pick now, since the Glass Family is no longer cheapskates and are officially dedicated to winning. Every loss is a step towards that 2014 World Series... or is it 2015?

Either way, tomorrow is pillow case day at the K. So your kid will have something to put over his head as he watches the game.
