Walmart Offers 10-Cents-a-Gallon Gas Savings at Participating Stations Nationwide
Today, Walmart announces a 90-day Rollback at the pump to give customers a savings of 10 cents a gallon on all fuel, gas and diesel, at participating Murphy USA and Walmart gas stations. The discount applies to gas purchases made when using a reloadable Walmart gift card, reloadable Walmart MoneyCard® or Walmart credit card from June 29 through September 30, 2011.

Nope, just scan it and you get the store specials, plus gas discount as QT. When we bought the meat and stuff for the last BBQ we did, we ended up with 20 cents off per gallon. Only hitch is you gotta use it by the end of the month and then it resets.

Wow! Someone's losing money, or the grocery store profits are huge. Is there a limit on the amount of gas you can buy... like if you drive a duel tank truck?

You don't have to actually go IN to the Wal~Mart to make a gas purchase...

Bob Dole got a Wal~Mart CC 3 years ago just for the regular gas discount... Hey, $.03/gallon is $.03 to spend on something else. (It's up to $.05 off every day, now.)

No limit at all. We always take two of our vehicles and fill them both, plus I usually bring a 5 gallon gas can as well.

i believe the more often you buy the higher the discount but not positive.

They make up for it in other ways. THey'll package two or more things together to make you think you are saving money by buying in bulk. WHen in fact buying them one at a time costs less

From what I was told at my PC, you spend $50 on groceries, you get can a "credit" for $0.05 off per gallon on your next trip to QT. I'm not sure if $100 gets you $0.10 off or not. I rarely spend over $30, so I haven't even thought about the deal since I heard about it.

This is what I thought. You have to spend several dollars at PC to get any discount. It's not an automatic discount at QT without buying anything at PC.

exactly, but I shop htere anyway, so its nice when it is adding up for the month and at the end they say I can save 20 cents per gallon. I can't buy food and shop at Walmart. The losers there make me lose my appetite

I get it now. I only shop the 3 or 4 day sales at PC. I don't shop for food at Walmart. There are much better options.
