So I went to the Ozarks this weekend, did some boating and skiing......hella busy as expected but we found some nice coves with less traffic to do some skiing etc. Lots of fun. Yesterday went to Blue Springs lake and did some more skiing. That lake is so fuckin small it makes me wonder as to why Jacomo has the horsepower limit on that lake when it's almost 3x the size.

Anyways.....tried wakeboarding for the first time. I've always been able to ski ever since I was around 5-6 or so (didnt matter if it was 1 ski or 2)....just never wakeboarded before. Well lets just say I was f'n terrible at it. A whole different ballpark in terms of getting out of the water IMO lol. The people I was with had a lot of patience because I must have tried 50x and busted my ass on everytime except once where I managed to get up.....but only for about 20 seconds lol

Not a big fan of the whole standing sideways thing.....also the reason why I will never snowboard either, as I can snow-ski my ass off.

Anyone got any good/funny boating or skiing stories?

(Just so it's clear, I'm the photographer - not the boarder.)

Completely agreed on Blue Springs needing a horsepower limit. I go early in the morning, and once I see my first couple of ~25 foot long boats, I get out of there before the other two dozen show up.

I once was trying to get up skiing and the water caused my pants to fall down, now it was either grab the trunks and not stand up, or stand up and moon anyone who saw me on the lake of the ozarks that day. I decided on mooning everyone.

How were you starting out? you shouldve gotten it You have to have the board parrellel with the water and have the board bent towards the boat havHave your arms resting on your knees As soon as you go immediatly pivot the board sideways The boat should just pull you up
