With the starting distance being out of knife weilding range, if rageemur waits until he's within 10-12 feet and then flings them off of pestilences head they wouldn't be. Not anything that would do any real damage, but possibly enough to distract him for an instant.

He'll miss hitting me and he'll hit someone else. Which in turn pissed off the bash goers and they mob him and hold him down. Clay is the first to get stabbed and he dies....but its to much for Rag to overcome and he gets a pocket knife to the jugular.

I honestly have very little I can say to support myself here.

I'm pretty tall (6'-2") which means decent wingspan, but I think overall it doesn't really help me. You don't bet on the lanky guy in boxing and I would think the same would apply to a knife fight.

I have the prep time advantage to analyze the surroundings, but Pestilence counters with previous bash attendance.

It's a coin flip.

Why the fuck wouldn't I get a vote? His brass knuckles are basically useless in this fight. And his extra 60 seconds of prep time really doesn't do much when I've still got 60 feet to figure out what the fuck I'm going to do.

It's an instant kill whenever the blade touches blood....so I've got two options that I can go about this.

1. I can sit back and play defensive. Wait for him to swing first and counter.

or

2. I can wait till he gets close and chuck my blade end over end at his center mass. I figure that gives me a 50-50 shot of breaking skin before he even gets close.
