I'm sure we all have 'em. Watch certain movies 100 times and you'll still watch it again. I'm watching Joe Dirt for probably the 30th time right now. I'm not saying it's a genius movie by any stretch but I enjoy it... over and over again. My list...

Shawshank Redemption
Indian Summer
Tommy Boy
Back To The Future (original)
Joe Dirt (duh)
Caddyshack (duh)
9 to 5 (yes the Dolly Parton movie, I like it)
Forest Gump (one of the few movies that actually lived up to its hype imo)
Titanic (ditto)
Poltergeist (original)
Natural Born Killers
School Of Rock
The Sandlot
Black Sheep (not as funny as Tommy Boy but still good)
The Lost Boys
The Breakfast Club
Independance Day
The American President
Hitch
Dumb & Dumber (thanks scott free)
Young Guns (thanks Livestream)
Monty Python Search For The Holy Grail
Vacation movies (thanks again scott free)
The Green Mile (thanks CosmicPal)
Scent Of A Woman
The Jerk
Meatballs
Lost In Translation (thank you Icarus)
Shaun Of The Dead
Apollo 13 (thank you Rain Man)

I'm sure I left off a movie or 20.

What say you?

So many I couldn't even list them. I'm one of those people who can watch the same film or read the same book repeatedly (although, with books, I might have to wait a year or two). Pretty much anything fantasy/sci-fi that's come out in the past 30 years, for starters. Hell, I just found myself watching "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" AGAIN on USA Network, even though I own the movie and have seen it at least 10 times.

I don't know the last sci-fi movie I've watched. Never liked the genre. To each their own is a lovely concept.

Wow. Nothing? None of the Star Wars or Star Treks? None of the sword and sorcery films of the 80s? Blade Runner, Terminators, Inception, Harry Potters, superheroes, nothing?

Don't get me wrong, those aren't the only things for me. But that whole genre is a slam-dunk. I have everything in my collection from Merchant-Ivory "chick flicks" to classic 80s comedies. I just enjoy revisiting films. (Some people can't, though; my wife can't watch a film twice.)

Too many for me to list, but Dawn of the Dead (04 remake) has to be number 1. I watch that movie at least once every couple months.. It's absurd how I never get tired of that movie.

Never seen any of the Star Wars/Trek movies. Only sword and sorcery movies would be Harry Potter movies that I've watched with my kid... they're not bad for what they are. Termintor 1 and 2 I saw but was meh. Superhero movies I've seen would be a couple of the Spiderman movies... ok but don't make this list for me, Dark Knight was meh, other Batman movies I didn't like. The Will Smith anti-superhero movie I liked but not enough to remember the name of put it on this list. I do love Inception. Seen it twice and it could be an inclusion for me.

I know I'm not a normal dude.

I can't watch a movie and then just watch it again soon though. I have to take at the very least a few months before I feel like rewatching something. Nice list. I agree with the bold save a few exceptions. I think I could watch Pulp Fiction, American Beauty, and Ghostbusters on a constant loop if I didn't have anything else that needed doing. I don't know what it is. Probably a perfect mix of them being great films and nostalgia.

Great movie. Big effects enacted in the real world. Gripping undertold story of the French resistance. A lovely respite from today's CGI-fest.

Oh, and I type this whilst cycling through my 3rd iteration of the GoT series. Talk about rewatchable! So much dialog is rendered poignant and often tragic once you know the whole story.

LOTR trilogy is too long and slow to watch whenever it's on.

It was amazing watching it for the first time but watching it again and again is a chore.

It is long...I have to be in a certain mood to watch it. But some of the most beautiful locales I have ever seen in a film.

The Replacements is a good movie, but the last scene where they pull off an amazing play to win the game and it gets called back for holding, yet they still get another play and of course the defense gets burned deep by a tight end on a simple route...just...bugs me.

I kind of chuckled at that too. I got the feeling they just didn't want to end it quite as predictably as every other sports movie so they went for a little extra drama before the inevitable good guys win moment. Enjoyable movie though. Love Brook Langton.
