I was sitting in my living room in Columbia, MO, watching this game. I remember throwing things at the TV...

I remember this like it was yesterday. I can still see Brett running from the dugout screaming at the ump. Damn I must be getting old.

LOL. I remember growing up in the 70's and 80's my parents always made it a point to take us the the Yankees/Royals games, we always sat in LF GA near Yankess bullpin and get there early and watch the fans heckle Martin. He was always good natured, smiled and the such , tip of the hat, good Stuff.
I remember the game as well, I remember in all the hassle the bat getting "lost" for a few moments and it was Gaylord Perry (of our staff ) ran off to the clubhouse with it. too funny.

I just really miss the old school Royals/Yankees rivalries.....

Had it happened in 2003, it would have taken a little longer for George to get out of the dugout.
