The Royals have one of the best bullpens in baseball. Several relievers with sub 2 ERA's. Overall 3.37 ERA.

Boston isn't far behind with an overall 3.53

So it's not a stretch to say the Royals bullpen is as good, if not better than Boston. It's not a slight at Boston. You all have one of the best teams in baseball. I'd gladly trade places.

Adcock is young, rule 5 acquisition. He's been pretty lackluster.

Wood is young, inconsistent and generally sucks.

These two are by far the toilet bowl of our bullpen. We threw out all of our horses last night. This game has all the makings of becoming a real laugher, complete with a position player throwing for the Royals in a few innings.

They showed abreviated highlights of last nights game since the Royals won. This Sox win will be top story tonight.

Man, that's cynical. Just because all ESPN talks about is the Red Sox and Yankees and Colts and Patriots and Brett Favre and the Lakers, you act like they ignore the small markets or something. :D

NOTE: As I typed this I switched to ESPN and they're showing Red Sox highlights. LMAO

Prediction:

Top of the ninth. Royals rally to score 7.

Bottom of the ninth. Royals walk the bases loaded, and with two outs throw strike three but it gets away to the backstop and two runs score to end the game.

LMAO

Down 5, Aviles swings at the first two pitches both in the dirt. Nicely done asshole. Then to add to the misery, he weakly grounds to 3rd and gets doubled up. Well done.

Mike Aviles is one of the biggest "Just happy to be here, don't give a fuck about losing" guys on the team.

Mike Aviles is one of the biggest "Just happy to be here, don't give a **** about losing" guys on the team.

It's just those kinds of little things that make good teams great and mediocre teams bad. Billy getting thrown out at 3rd, errors on bunts, Aviles not taking a pitch down 5 in the night, etc.

I was mostly right. Sportscenter just started and "a Royal shelakin" (sp?) was the first story on the pre-show tease. Please don't pretend to anything less than predictable ESPN.

2nd story overall. Had to love the Yankees first.
