Great editing work and great thematic motifs used throughout. That being said, I dislike the music. Just not my tastes, but that's a really subjective element of these videos so no points off for that.

I like the past/present/future motif that played through it. I was wondering what the last minute or so of video was going to consist of because the song was over... then you showed highlights of the rookies. Cool.

I loved the way you intertwined the present with the past, and synchronized the footage with the music - the 'oomph' moments came at just the right times. It was really well done and tightly edited, and I enjoyed reliving a lot of those moments. If I have any negative criticism, I could have done without the shots of the Chiefs injured other players, though - we have so many defensive highlights over the years, we don't need to throw that salt in the wounds, I don't think.

Other than that, well done!

I'm sitting here listening to Two Steps From Hell music and thinking about next year's defensive highlight film.

I have a cool new idea - feature each player, compartmentalized, in his or her own mini-video lasting approximately 60 to 90 seconds. Since each player on our D is a certified badass, this works really well. Then I just stitch them all together.

Where the idea really takes off is this Two Steps From Hell album. It's full of epic 60 to 90 second clips that all sound similar in tone...and each one has a nice short into bit that is perfect for text introductions.

Now we just have to wait six months for the carnage to gather, and hope I'm still alive.

Alternate idea - release each player compartment as a weekly episode.

Could be problematic, depending on performance. However, if it works, you could stitch them all together at the end of the season for a huge highlight reel.

OK I was confused. You want to do a post season weekly video of each defensive player. Got it now.

Good idea. I would personally like to see one long video of the defense hammering the shit out of the opposition as well, especially Dungver.

Yeah, it's kind of tradition. Plus uploading one video every week for 11 weeks would be a pain in the ass.
