Think Franklin re-signed with the 49ers

Hardly anyone has talked about this but Kevin Boss would be a great signing IMO.

Could be an insurance policy for Moeaki should his brittle ass go down injured, and he's much better than Leonard Pope in pretty much all aspects of the game.

Lawson is a good Coverage Linebacker and would fill a nice void opposite Hali.

Why does Warren rank at 26?

Probably because he was hurt last year.

Except Whitner's a SS. And he wouldn't be much of an upgrade over Lewis regardless.

How about Lackilac Williams? He could bust a 3rd and 1 hole.

I'd love to see us get Braylon Edwards...

Bowe, Baldwin, Braylon and Breaston would be a nice 4 WR set.

I think he meant state of Florida battle(since the Bucs and Fins are there), not college battle.

This exactly. The one name I pulled out of that list that would pay this team dividends for the next 4-5 years.

I thought about Boss also, Coughlin's system is our system, pretty much. I don't think Boss would be that much improvement. Pope is a pretty savvy all around blocker and he's a better end zone target than Boss. I actually like What Jake O'Connell did at the end of the season. He played more, played decent too.

The McClain thing, the longer he's out there the more I think Pioli's got him at the table.

I know it won't happen but having Steve Smith to protect against a Vreaston injury would work. Boss was under utilized by Coughlin, good idea to grab him and much cheaper than Miller.

Thought i read somewhere that Smith might wind up on Pup to start the season. I totally agree on Boss. I think he has some injury he is coming off of too so maybe that's why his name isn't mentioned as much. Dave Thomas from NO has a history with Pioli in NE so that might be an option at TE too.

I'm confused about people advocating to pay large $$ for a free agent TE.

Miller is one of the better TEs in the game. Our two TE sets would improve our run game in the red zone by leaps and bounds, not to mention give us another weapon for scoring.

Also, having two quality TEs, gives the passing game, another quality receiver, to help move the chains. I think it's one of the better moves we could make.

The object of quality personel is to have mismatches. To have ZM or Moeaki as our number two, gives us that much more ammunition to exploit defenses and gives the odds of moving the chains that much more of a chance to succeed.

If we sign, him, I think that makes us one of the most potent offenses in the league.

I'd be all over this move, if he signs for relatively cheap.

How often did Haley use two TE sets in Arizona? It doesn't seem like that fits too well into his scheme but I haven't really done my homework.
