Apparently you haven't watched the games the last few years.

Almost every game since 2001 has been a 1 score game at the end. Luckily I live on the west coast and get to see these games on TV and I know they are really interesting. Plus the Chiefs are looking good and the Raiders are their main rival.

Greatest NFL rivalries from public opinion I've gathered

Eagles/Cowboys
Pats/Jets
Pats/Colts
Steelers/Ravens
Packers/Vikings

The 'rivalry' games I enjoy watching most today:

Chiefs Chargers
Colts Texans
Packers Bears
Chiefs Broncos
Patriots Giants

and a sixth, raider week at arrowhead of course.

The games are always close, but the Chargers come out on top most of the time.

We lost to them in 2004 and once in 2008. We beat them in 2005, 2007, 2007 playoffs, 2008 playoffs, and 2010.

Denver is a bigger rival than Oakland.

I have to agree with this.

The Donk's have been the #1 most hated team by Chiefs fans ever since "The Greased Jersey" incident.

When the Raiders start playing like a legit contender again, I'm sure that will shift.

Right now, the biggest rivalries in the NFL are:

Pats - Colts
Jets - Pats
Chiefs - Denver
Giants - Cowboys
Bears - Packers

Then I'd go:

Chiefs - Raiders
Redskins - Cowboys
Eagles - Giants
Denver - Raiders
Eagles - Cowboys

Depends on who you ask. Chiefs/Raiders has more history. However, I'd say Chiefs/Broncos has been bigger since the 90's. JMO. So, oldtimers will probably still say Raiders. Newcomers will probably say Denver.

This x 1000. A year or two ago they showed BOTH Eagles / Redskins games on Prime Time (one Sun night one Mon. night) even though NEITHER team made the playoffs the year before or were even .500. Disgusting.

Here's mine:

Chiefs / Broncos
Steelers / BROWNS (the ravens didn't exist before 96 or 97, not nearly enough tradition there for them to be listed as often as they are. i guarantee browns fans hate the $tealers for than Ravens fans do)

I hear ya, I was leaning more towards the All Time Rivalries angle rather than the current ones. My list would have been totally different otherwise. But even so, I know for a fact Browns fans hate the Steelers more than the Pats / jets hate each other, more than the Colts / Pats hate each other, more than any NFC East Rivalry, more than practically anything anyone could list. I would too if I lived in Cleveland, they lost a home game against Jax while in playoff conention because an offical overturned a turnover after the Browns already ran a play. I just don't see stuff like that happen to other teams, not even the Chiefs.

Aren't these the people who watch the games? You know, general fan.

Anyway, the Denver vs SD would have been the biggie if Cutler was still in Denver. Now you look at it today, none of the AFC West games really matter on a national level.
