He reported late, some saying he was out of shape. For those of you that have experienced the Chiefs camp and have watched Houston play, how is he really doing. I think he was a third round steal and can be a real beast when unleashed. :hmmm

Looks great rushing the passer. Looks awful doing everything else.

I read that Crennel said he was "Lost". But that's to be expected at this point...especially in light of the practices he missed.

Hope he gets up to speed quickly.
He needs to be starting opposite of Hali.

He has the work ethic of Chester McGlocklin.
Not a good way to start off a career...

The word is that Rodney Houston is struggling. You'll find the info in one of the shittily written articles on page 1 of this forum.

He was going to drop back in coverage, but then he got high.

He was going to drop right back in coverage, but then he got high.

He missed all the presnap reads and I know whyyyyy, yeah yeah

Because he got high, because he got high, because he got high

Not a question that can really be answered in any meaningful way for any rookie 3 days into camp, especially when there weren't any OTAs.

I predict Rodney Houston will live on for years

he's alright running forward attacking the qb, but backwards he looks out of place, like a pregnant woman on the zambee zinger

If Studebaker can play the run on first and second down and Houston comes in to rush the passer this season I'm fine with that.

The lines worked on pass protection/pass rushing during one segement. Two things really stood out. First, Houston flat whipped Barry Richardson. Houston's first rep was a speed rush to the outside. He got his shoulder down and got around Richardson quickly enough that during a game it would have been at least a pressure if not a sack. Richardson was ready for the speed move on their second rep. The problem was Houston went with an outside-in move. Houston got free so quickly that Barry had to take a hop step to keep from falling down. No doubt that one would have resulted in a full speed crush of a sack.

He "smoked" Richardson.

His first few practices he will probably be "huffing and puffing" till he gets in better shape. ROFL

I hope being able to whip Barry Richardson means something.

Since we're talking LBs... Hows Micah Johnson doing?
