He squared to bunt twice, got out to a 2-0 count, then got the swing away (apparently). Why not make the guy throw a strike? You might be able to work a walk like Visquel did for the Sox in the 7th.

I think Ned is asleep at the switch sometimes....

I think he caught a case of the Soria.

He has been brutal recently but he still has an ERA of only 2.18. He seems to have lost his control. Maybe a tired arm as he was used a lot in the first half and when he was not used they seemed to warm him up a lot.
