Yeah in cities I know it has to be a tough job at times.

But to give me a taser for a day would just be wrong on so many levels.

Ya I just see nice cops rolling all threw the hoods fixing bikes.
I did have an off duty Iowa State patrolmen whip out his badge at an Omaha Nebraska concert Friday night, while I was trying to park my car. He went tough cop on me. YOU NEED TO SHUT YOUR MOUTH!
Im in my car. I will say what ever I want. With that he walked away.

That patch was actually surrounded by a bunch of legit state and fed patches. It took me a few minutes checking them out before I even noticed that one. I do wish I'd taken a pic a little further out, it was a neat display.

I could. I wouldn't be very good at it, and I'd probably get shot in that last scenario (especially since that's probably either downtown Baltimore, or Prince George's County), but I could at least give it a go.

All kinds of ^this.
I don't have much patience for the types of dumbasses cops deal with daily. I'd end up fucking plugging someone just so I didn't have to listen to them anylonger.

In your case, I think women would gladly take a ticket for going excessively fast in a fines double construction zone with a full shipment of crystal meth before they even think about getting even remotely close to your crotch.

Bullshit. They'll already be thinking about when they see how cute I look in my uniform...then once my dick is out they'll thank their lucky fortunes that they got Officer Clean Ween instead of Sergeant Droopy McBalls.

Last night we get a call from a 19 year old that got a little ruffed up by some guy who didn't like the 19 year old driving fast in his neighborhood. Quiet street, don't blame the older guy for what was pissing him off, but of course had to say he didn't have the right to go into the street and stop a random stranger, reach into the window and grab the kid by the shirt while yelling at him to slow down.

Deal is, the kid called us and wanted to press charges. Second problem, when I first approach the older dude (who lived in this rich area of town) I smell he'd been drinking and he was being very loud, obnoxious and verbally combative with me. Called me every name in the book, and started walking away three times while I was trying to figure out what had all happened.

He was starting to get pretty aggressive and bowing his chest out at me, you know - remember high school, someone probably did this to you at one time or another. I know I had every right to cuff him for his, mine, the kid's safety, but I didn't.

Anyway, I'm glad I didn't, it ends up he's a senior exec at a BIG banking institution, even if I was right, I probably would have been up to my eyeballs in lawsuits for the rest of my life.

Now, someone up on the "north" side of town does that, well - they'd probably have a gun or drugs or warrants anyway, so it'd all be ok to get tough with that shithead, right? (last paragraph is a joke, in before it's taken serious)

I wonder if the rich guy could've taken care of a credit card from his institution for me? Maybe I should have just started harassing the kid and started auctioning off some options. "for 100 I'll pepper spray him, for 1000, I'll let you taze him!"

Ok, so I'm done rambling. Up for 24 hours.

No, in the moment I made a gut judgement call. In review, I know that someone with more money than god could make my life hell, even if I did the right thing. That's called an observation.

Sorry, I'm just being a dick.

You think you're "just" being a dick, really though you're being an ignorant dick. Because you didn't think through your own post to realize that in those situations you don't get to think things out, you have to rely on past situations, training and your gut instinct to make a judgement call in the heat of the moment.

The thinking it through part comes afterwards.

Stick to internet porn and cheap football takes that you regurgitate from rotoworld. Stay safe with your speedy internet fact checks on wikipedia and spell check on your computer.
