The wife and her friends went out and bought some materials so i can grill them some burgers (surprise to me). Though I love my burgers, I'm curious to try something new. I usually make them 2 ways-

1.

Grilled w/ American Cheese & Pepperjack and topped with:
Bacon
French Fried Onions
BBQ sauce
Lettuce
Tomato
Jalapenos (**** you, it's delicious and a family favorite)
etc.

or 2.

Grilled and topped with:
Pineapple
Sweet teryiaki Sauce
french Fried Onion
Lettuce

Etc.

What else you guys got?

Don't make it from ground beef. Make it from ground Bacon with cheese and bacon strips of course.

Call me boring but I like my grilled burger with cheese and either mustard or A-1 and a couple pickles. You can leave the rest off. I like to taste the burger not a bunch of other things.

So it's a bacon patty not a burger. That's just gross. Bacon is too salty, I pretty much hate it.

And I've never been part of "the crowd" so this is nothing new.

Little bit of a variation, change up the ground beef before grilling. Mixed in by hand before making patties. Per pound:

2 t Wocestershire
1 t Onion salt
1/2 t Garlic powder
1/8 t Black pepper

People really underrate blue cheese. The 'tang' of the cheese really works with salty burgers/bacon.

Last night I took blue cheese crumbled, 2/3 cup ams mixed it with a stick of unsalted butter and a little garlic and pepper. I slathered that all over some kc strips about three minutes before taking them off the grill.

Served em with some more of the butter mix.

HOLY SHIT THEY WERE GOOD. Think I'll go eat the leftovers right now...

Ground beef
Good sausage
Grated Onion

Mix those and you'll have a very juicy, very tasty burger. You can put the cheese either inside the burger or on top, and you can use your toppings of choice

Cooked or raw? That was a first for me. Now that my raw cherry bacon is broken it wont be the last.

Smoked (Spanish) chorizo. Dice it up and cook it like bacon, get it crispy. Put that shit on a burger!

I like raw, that way the bacon grease permeates the GB. But you really need a hot fire to do it right. Get that sucker up 550+ so the bacon crisps before drying out the beef.
