Is the red reserve different from just showing up and paying the $27.00? I guess my question is what is the benefit of paying extra for a red reserve parking pass?

You get to park closer, if you don't mind walking just pay for the cash lot. Also its easier to get out as well.

It's not that much closer. If you get there early enough you'll still have a nice parking spot.

They have reserved gold lots (real close, real expensive) and red reserved lots, and cash lots. Cash lots are the farthest away.
