Thanks for the head's up. I am currently ripping it off youtube as a mp4.Awesome video. I didn't realize the original broadcast existed anywhere.

Interesting the differences in the rules. Personal fouls weren't automatic first downs, if a player got hurt his team was charged with a TO, etc. They also didn't take commercial breaks after punts.

Awesome old commercials too.

This program is awesome for recording audio or video. And it's free.

Better hook this up before that video is taken down.

I think the customer in the second commercial (7:20 mark) is the guy who played Herb Tarlek on WKRP in Cincinnati.

I have a VCD of this game sent to me a few years ago by a fellow CP poster. While I truly thank him for it, unfortunately the picture quality is just like this video.

IF you can provide us with a better quality video, do go ahead please. I bet you'd be showered with positive reps.

Something else I found by watching this game.
It's been a long time (obviously) since I've seen football from the 60's/70's, but I was fairly shocked at the precision shown in the formations and pre-snap shifts. It doesn't seem to look the same today.

A lot of that has to do with the fact that the NFL has loosened it's rules about movement before the snap.

Back in the day, all the movement by QBs and the lines today would have gotten false start calls.

Once you were set, you had to remain set.

Yes, it was broadcast in color. We were living in Endicott, NY at the time. We got our very first color TV a week or two before the game. My dad made these little felt pennants with the KC logo on them and pinned them to the speakers of the TV. It was epic.
