Sproles looked really good last night. He made some damn fine plays.

Makes me happy in my pants that he's no longer in Sandy Eggo.

At the same time it made me sad that we couldn't find a place for him instead of a guy like Thomas Jones. I understand the argument that we have McCluster and Charles, who have a similar style, but we also have McClain who can get the tough yards...

It's too bad he can't pick up a block at a crucial moment in that game.

I was in the same class with him since we were 5. The dude was just dominant in all phases of football. Including playground. In high school he really tore it up. Makes me proud every time he has a good play. Last night was great for him. New Orleans is a good place for him I think.

Also...makes me happy to think back to telling Chiefs fans we should draft him and them arguing that he was too small to make it in the league (real life Chiefs fans). I forgive them. They just didn't know him.

Sproles had a mental mistake for sure.

What happened I must have missed it. Did he miss a blitz pickup or somethin?

Ah well, he made some big plays.

I think the Chiefs view McCluster in the Sproles role already....

For as good as Sproles is, hes still just a role player on a very good team.

I can't believe he's still in the NFL. But the dude produces.

He is a decent role player and will find his niche in that offense, problem with a guy like that is he is already what 27-28? Not a lot of good years left if you look at age of rb's and their production. But in the meantime he sure is fun to watch

I don't recall him ever taking large hits though, (exept for Kwicka Mitchell on a kickoff) Mcluster seems like he gets killed on every play.

Sproles is a stocky midget with a low center of gravity. McCluster is a skinny midget. He tries his best though with that little spin move thing, but that really only works in Madden.

Meh, year one, we will see what he gots year 2 and 3. He has the ability to Jump in the endzone from 5 yards out, and he can go up and get balls better than you would think.

Yes, he missed a block that turned into a sack. An exciting player, but probably shouldn't be asked to block guys that outweigh him by 70 or 80 pounds.

Sproles has a good 20lbs on McLackluster and it shows big time. McCluster goes down in a stiff breeze.

there are skinny guys who can avoid hits and large guys that can't, but yeah I get your point.

Loved watching Sproles with K-State. That being said, Marty drafted him to be his answer to Dante Hall, now things have gone full circle with McCluster.

Jordy Nelson had a nice game as well.

That's another K-State guy I wanted the Chiefs to get.

The Chiefs can't see talent when it's in their own backyard.

Everyone in the NFL outweighs him by at least that much.
