Hey, my red-headed NFC stepteam, the Bears, kicked the shit out of the Falcons today.

I'm fairly convinced that any team that has or has ever had Tony Gonzalez on its roster is cursed.

The bright side is, some players were so bad, there will very likely be some new people on the roster next week....and some new starters on the field.

Nowhere to go but up? Other "good" teams lost terribly (atl, pitt, indy).

This just goes to show you that we are an outdated team. Teams that are built on the run first mentality cannot give up early leads.

All of those choices sound eleventy billion times better than getting it to watch the Chiefs.

Another good thing - that pesky "hope" thing we always seem to have? Well, that won't be bothering me this year.

And San Diego just got boned on the opening play! That makes me feel better. :D

The Colts looked like shit against Houston. Pitt looked like shit against Baltimore. The Falcons looked like shit against Chicago. The Rams gave up 31 and lost by 18 at home. There's a very good chance most, if not all, of those teams make the playoffs. So why can't the Chiefs be any different?

It's one game. Breathe. Relax. Yes, the Chiefs' D looked like crap; they also lost Eric Berry early which probably threw them off. Yes, the O looked bad; they also didn't have the rookie wideout they were hoping would contribute. Yes, Cassel looked like shit; they also... well, okay, there's no defense for that one, so IMO they should make sure Stanzi is activated next week and if Cassel looks like a turd again pull him out.

First things first, and we might end up beating them somehow.

No need to look ahead beyond Detroit, we gotta lose em all one game at a time.

Yeah, we'll come back strong. 15-1 still gets you home field advantage, most likely.

Amendola's injury is probably the most severe. Might be out for the season.

Smith has a high ankle sprain. Don't know how long he'll be out.

Jackson pulled his quad. Don't know how long he'll be out.

Bartell's and Bradford's injuries both seem minor.

I had him on my FFL (and this is my 1st year of playing fantasy football).

I also had Cassel and the Chiefs D (for right now) but I did not start Cassell today.
