no excuses, other teams had to deal with all the same stuff and they didn't look like shit.

You can't blame the lockout or the CBA since those are things all 32 teams had to deal with.

Actually about half of all teams that played this morning looked like shit but the chiefs looked even worse than that! So to answer your question the playcalling was terrible and everyone looked as if this was their first game ever.

The entire coaching staff seems afraid to get players injured, the team is soft and won't be able to catch up.

Obviously, it's on Haley (and Pioli). He took a gamble and lost. It is the first game though. A few other teams got throttled, too.

This is all on Haley.

Haley boasted about this "Grand Plan" that he formulated during the offseason where the Chiefs were going to treat training camp like Club Med, the first preseason game like a glorified college spring practice and magically be ready to start strong once things counted.

All you have to do is look at the very first play of the game... McCluster barely returned kicks this preseason and fumbles the ball right out of the gate.

Haley's plan didn't work. His team was not ready to play and It'll be hard to convince me that he hasn't lost this team. You can't wiff tht bad as a coach.............

Yeah, this looked like game 2 of preseason. It basically was. Just ugly. Period. Enough said.
