I am having a weird issue the last few days. Any football game I watch has got a real choppy picture. It has happened on espn, cbs, and now nbc. Its not pixels like a crappy signal and it only does it when there is fast moving action. Doesn't do it between plays or when they're in the studio. Anyone else experience this before?

Move your head back and forth till you achieve the proper frequency.

I recommend you don't call directv about it yet. Buy the service plan for $6 or $7 a month and wait a month for your plan to activate then call it in for them to fix it. That will also give you time to test it out a few more weeks to see if it still needs repair.

I had no problems today. First time I ever had the nfl ticket experience and it was nice watching the red zone channel.

I noticed that on a few of the TVs in the Draft Room Bar at Arrowhead today. I was hiding away in there to get out of the sun since the game was a joke and the TVs were really choppy.

I can't say for sure if it's DirectTV but since they're playing all of the games (or at least a bunch of them) I'm assuming it was.

I'm using an antenna and my picture is pixellated during the plays. It's choppy with artifacts, especially when following a single player in motion with an active background.

I remember there being a lot of choppy video on some of the Red Zone channel game feeds

The bar owner where I watched the game said that Direct TV updated the software that feeds the NFL games into their feed that they send out to the bars. Effected everyone in the USA. Casued her to troubleshoot for 1 1/2 hours of time troubelshooting to get it figured out.

I watched 5-6 different NFLST channels today and didn't have any issues whatsoever.

I haven't read the whole other twelve posts, less out of laziness and more because I don't give a rats ass, but this was nationwide, and some screens had frozen 'stills' for hours. -- lame day, all around.

The bar I went to had all kinds of problems with their newer receivers. They'd update them, they'd show about 1-2 minutes of vid and then just freeze. Took them till well into the 2nd quarter to work it out. Luckily they had old receivers outside on the patio so unfortunately I got to watch today's game. Owner said something like 20 sports books in LV were down today. I think DirecTV is gonna have a shitstorm on their hands the next couple days.
