Tough news for the #Chargers. Per @davidcanter, both PK Nate Kaeding and DE Luis Castillo are done for the year, both with knee injuries.

Watch the Chargers' kicking game land us the division title again. LMAO
I met Luis Castillo in santa domingo in the Dominican Republic during the 2006 Super bowl party at the Jaragua. dude has huge fucking hands..lol
Actually my thought after watching the Chargers muddle around for 3 quarters today, is watch John Fox martyball his way to an 8-8 division title.

Chargers missed the division crown last season suffering from poor ST play - but they "fixed it," right? So far in Game 1 they've given up a 100yd+ TD return & lost their kicker. Still the AFCW team to beat cuz of their offense & defense & QB... but it kinda seems like they're starting to dip down to KC/OAK/DEN levels...

He tried to be a hero when he should of known SD is bad at ST and was going to give up the TD to Harvin regardless.

After the Playoff loss to the Jets, I'd rather have the punter kicking FGs for the Chargers at this point (He hit on a nice 40 yarder today).
IMO- Castillo is a bust but I can take solace in knowing TJ is a much bigger bust.
The Charger D-Line will be fine without him.

Castillo will be missed but he has a very capable backup in Vaughn Martin who has looked real good in preseason. Castillo has a broken tibia so dont know if he will be IR'd or not. Keading tore his ACL and though he has been good, im sure we will find a capable kicker.
Shayne Graham and Chris Brown are available. Never seen a kicker get hurt as much as Keading has the past few seasons.
