One of the most frustrating aspects of the game was how similar it was to the Baltimore loss. Opposing QB with lots of time. Using TE's because KC doesn't have an OLB or safety who can pass block. Fumbles by Dex and Charles. Cassel pressing when the team is down and looking crappy. Abandoning Charles in the 2nd half. Losing the battles of the lines. 3rd down conversions - no problem.

Haley's "Grand Plan" clearly worked... it set history.

Exactly. Proving that the Chiefs can be had by just about any team, not just a playoff contender, that follows that game plan.

Chiefsplanet wasn't around the last time the Chiefs won a playoff game, so I haven't had the chance to show up when something goes well for the team.

When/if they win a playoff game, I'll be the first one to post.

Actually I believe it was the 2nd worst behind 1976 45-0 loss to the Steelers.

I was at that game. This was when the Steelers were at their zenith, and the Chiefs were as bas as they ever were. They were last year of Herm Bad.

Not only did the Steelers crush us, they beat the Chiefs up bad that day. If memory serves, they put three or four guys out with injuries. It was uuuuugly.

That wasn't an opener.
