They look pretty much like they did when the season started. They can do it at the first and the end of the season, now they need to learn how to do it in the middle

According to Kevin Keitzman the Royals should be losing all of these games on purpose.

If we can somehow obtain a solid #1 or #2 starting pitcher then we might do something next year

Can I retract my desire for Mark Buehrle?

I'll take Adam Wainwright in my dreams, Edwin Jackson and bring Chen back.

From Duffy, Hochevar, Montgomery, and Paulino you've got a much better rotation then.

CaliforniaChief
09-15-2011, 09:30 PM
And screw Keitzman and this lose for next year crap. I'm so enthused by the play of this team right now, and think it has a major chance to carry over into next year as this young nucleus learns how to win together.

Totally pumped right now for 2012.

He really did start playing better when they announced they "found something" and tweaked it.

I don't know if it happened much after the break, but he would have had better numbers had Ned not force him to pitch past the point of which he should have been pulled to try to teach him to pitch late into innings.

sometimes a losing can help in long run

Not with the Royals, they need winning more than anything else.

Who cares about numbers this year?

Get him mentally tougher. Maybe , hopefully, it worked.

Just saying even if it didn't work you probably have a better pitcher then numbers indicate.

This............

He's been very good the 2nd half. He FINALLY looks comfortable in his own skin. It would be huge for the Royals to have a confident and productive Hochevar for 2012. We still need more pitching help, but this is would be a nice start.
