If we manage to win 1-4 games this year and get the 3rd-6th pick, would you be open to trade up for the #1 or settle for Matt Barkley? What do we have to offer anyone?

Seattle is projected at #1, dont you think Pete Carrol could be persuaded to take his boy Barkley?

I like Foles, but would be willing to give up a shitload to get Luck.

We can trade up to #0?

I would Ditka/Williams next season's draft for Luck.

I don't care how, just find a way to make Luck a Chief.

Luck, Moore or Foles

Any one of the three would be a dream come true...

the value of high draft picks sky-rocketed with the rookie cap.

If we dont have the first pick we arent going to get Luck. Its going to be between the Seahawks, Colts, and Chiefs. None of these teams will trade the pick because every single team needs a QBotF.

If we don't get the pick. I'm fine with Jones/Foles. **** Barkley.

I wouldn't pick Foles in the 3-6th though. I'd try to trade out to a mid-late and pick him there.

This.

No one will trade out of #1. The only way we can draft Luck is to have the worst record. Not tied for the worst record because our strength of schedule will screw us, we need THE worst record, which means a minimum of 14 losses. Preferrably 15 to clinch it.

I'm not sure that the Colts would be locked in to keeping that #1 overall pick and drafting Luck. If they get a good enough offer, they will probably move down and shore up things for Peyton. They are going to ride that bandwagon into the fucking grave.

With that said, it seems Peyton may be returning at some point this season. If he does, count them out of the Luck sweepstakes.

so maybe we are looking at Landry Jones, Matt Barkley, or Nick Foles

Not sure why the Colts would pass on another Manning when their current Manning is nearing the end. I would imagine Peyton has maybe 2-3 good seasons left... if he comes back 100%.

Can any of these guys throw the ball beyond 20 yards?

Jones definitely can. Barkley seems like Cassel to me. Foles would be my guy after Luck/Jones.

The Polians aren't making the best of decisions as of recent.

I haven't seen much of Jones, but what I saw last night was a guy that threw a deep ball that looks a lot like Cassel's.

Receivers had to slow down and wait, or com

At the end there's a deep pass. 2 points per yard. He has 90 and ends up with 232. 71 yards in the air... he has plenty.

No way. You don't trade away the future of the franchise for someone who may only have 3 or 4 more years. See Brett Favre.

Michael Lombardi make that list? I won't trust any list that throws out that many QBs with absolutely nobody on D.

What did they trade away to get Favre?

I don't remember, but i don't think it was much, was it?

And the Vikes and Jets got a pretty good playoff push out of it.

It's not how far you can throw the ball..

Throw the ball deep with accuracy without getting too much air under the ball.

Zzzzzzzzz. First its I saw a deep ball like Cassels. Now its not about how deep... it doesnt matter how much air is under the ball when its infront of your receiver. Landry isn't going to underthrow Bowe by 10 yards on a 40 yard route. No QB in the league throws a 50+ yard pass like a throw to the plate by Ichiro.
