I watched the Colts / Pittsburgh game. Freeney and Mathis will have Cassel shitting his pant every time he touches the ball. Rothlisburger steps up in to the pocket and keeps looking down field or he will run. He has a comfort level in the pocket. He might not know when to move every time but it takes a lot to take him down.

Cassel on the other hand will get mauled 2 or 3 times by Freeney and Mathis and will check down to Mccluster 3 yards behind the line of scrimmage for a loss cause he is scared..

I have bought into the doing whatever we have to do so we can draft a franchise QB. The thing I have noticed about trying to be happy about them losing is they don't let you down.

On the last play, right when he hiked the ball something deep down told me as long as it was in Cassel's hands, he would find a way to screw it up. It's not like he is known as captain comeback. He didn't really surprise anyone with his level of ineptness, just reassured those hoping a horrible season will be worth many more wins.

Come on. That pick rose to new levels of ineptness. Could you see him throwing a pick downfield? Taking a sack? Fumbling? Letting time run out before the FG unit gets on the field? Certainly a big "yes" to all of those. But, throwing the ball directly to a DB on a screen pass 3 yards away and 4 yards away from the intended receiver, that rises to new levels of incompetence that even I didn't think was possible.

Isn't this an overall great draft class for QBs? Who else could we get with the #4 pick? I'm not saying it's not possible for us to get the #1 pick...that's entirely possible. But it's more possible that we get a #2-5 pick. I don't believe it has to be Luck or bust, and I get that he's the best prospect.
