Thought this was kinda cool that our "sister" board got mentioned...

For a generation of women who are already participating in sports more than ever, the success of Boston teams only increased their sports savvy. The more teams are talked about, blogged about, Tweeted about, the more you absorb. The Patriots Planet message board is jammed with women who would rather talk about Brady's recent success with the no-huddle than his supermodel wife.

heh, we almost made her famous. She should have taken this boards advise and gone into porn and she would have been rich.

Her debut feature could have been titled, "Kirstie Tynes and Her Mom Gagging on Lawrence Tynes."

inb4 one of the newer lady posters gets traded over here for a future lady poster and the new lady poster here shows promise at first but then she turns into the Mark Castle of ChiefsPlanet.

I know the women there and they certainly do know their football.

As for the "edited TV version" and "Sesame Street" comments, that's true. Which is why I'm here more often than there. (Patsfans is more of a ChiefsPlanet-sized board but those guys are even stricter about what discussion goes where, and they have about 380 different boards, so I gave up after a day. But it's a great place to do if you want to read a 2000-post thread about the 6th wideout or the two scrubs competing for dime back or some such thing.) The thing I like about this place is that it's up-front and in-your-face about what it's like. No holds barred, anything on the table. PatriotsPlanet has been cleaned up to the point that it's the polite, nicely-decorated bistro on the main street, whereas this is the grungy local bar down the dark alley behind it. Different strokes for different folks.

That's for sure. I can understand why women feel safe there in that sea of estrogen.
