Really? Why would you be rooting for him to play well?

Pretty sure he meant because he sucks.

OUCH.... trade looks worse after every divisional beat down. Wonder if amount of playbook known will be an excuse?

He still does claim that "its been a crash course".

If you cost the team an arm and a leg to acquire, you better produce immediately.

This is just silly talk. I assume you are just talking trash because it is a rival. That or you know very little about football. He should have not even entered a game yet. He reported to camp less than three weeks before yesterdays start. I do not think he should have played until next week at the very earliest. You cannot expect any QB show up 6 weeks into the season and magically get in playing shape and learn an entire offense, along with the timing of receivers. This is either smack or stupidity~

Palmer looks good today.

In spots he looked okay.

6 Ints in just unders six full quarters of play.

The Chiefs just lost to Miami. That was horrible. But, the Raiders traded a first and a second to 'save' this season. They have since lost two division games and Palmer has thrown six Int's.

Now, they get to play the Chargers.

The Chiefs have the Broncos. I feel better about this game than I did Miami.

Miami was better than their record and the Chiefs were coming off an emotional OT MNF win.

With the drubbing they got, they should have the proper motivation to take care of the Broncos. Whether they do or not is yet to be seen.

But, to watch the Raiders struggle after giving up those two high picks.... priceless.

Pro Football Weekly:

Insider: Questions about Raiders' Palmer's toughness

"I don't know how mentally tough Carson Palmer is. He just looks fragile. The Raiders would have gotten their (butts) kicked if Jay Cutler was playing for the Bears and then they lost by 20 to Miami. … I heard him talking about how exhausted he was and how he hit a wall (last week) after moving his family to the Bay Area. Why did he move his family now? Then he was talking about how he learned so much. Where is the new learning? I thought the reason Hue (Jackson) brought him there is because he worked with him before and he knew the system. They gave up two first-round picks to get him? That might go down in the books with the Herschel Walker trade — the biggest bust ever."

all while cruising to 8-8....perfect

Good news for the Raiders is that they have saved a 1st round pick. No way they make the AFCCG in the next 2 years. Palmer has hardly played, but he is still among the league leaders in INTs.

Chiefs: Hit the waiver wire for journeyman QB, end Packers unbeaten streak and remain alive for the playoffs.

I agree - The Raiders top my list too but your Broncos are not far behind. I used to not hate the Bolts but now I am pretty sick of the unfounded hype for them every year while every media pundit thinks this is thier year when we all know they will choke in some fashion or another.

I will also always harbor some hate for the Seahawks too for ruining DT's 7 sack game.

Still 2 games to go but Tebow may have saved us from Cassel
Palko sucks & there is no way they dump Cassel for a 5th round rookie no matter how well he may have played
If Cassel hadn't got hurt he would have lost to the Packers but beat the Steelers. Fing Palko almost did

He will be playing for several more seasons and to judge him on a season he started midway through with the most injuries I ever recall a team having is just silly. He has been throwing to a different set of recievers every week and has been missing key players every week. I understand rival fans talking trash but unless it is just trash talk than you know little about football~

The foolish part of the trade was throwing in the pick in 2013. They aren't getting a QB like Palmer in this year's draft, hell we aren't either at #11. I'm not going to fault them for that. A first this year was okay in the value department.
