In the Week 5 game against the Indianapolis Colts, both RB Jackie Battle and FB Le'Ron McClain were injured for the Kansas City Chiefs. Battle was dinged up in the neck area on his final carry of the game and McClain went out earlier with what was deemed a neck injury.

The good news is that it appears both guys are healthy. The Chiefs injury report for Wednesday had both of them listed as full participants in practice which is a good sign for their availability on Sunday. Battle and McClain were the only two players listed for KC which means they are once again much, much healthier than their opponent, the Oakland Raiders.

The Raiders had a total of 10 guys listed on the injury report which, as a comparison, is more than the Chiefs have ever had in the Todd Haley era.

Here's the Raiders injury report:

Did not practice: QB Jason Campbell (collarbone, foot), RB Rock Cartwright (calf), CB Chimdi Chekwa (hamstring), CB Chris Johnson (groin, hamstring), LB Rolando McClain (ankle), RB Marcel Reece (ankle).

Limited practice: TE Richard Gordon (hand), S Michael Huff (ankle), C Samson Satele (ribs).

Full practice: TE Brandon Myers (ribs).

With both McClain and Battle full participants that leaves zero players on the Chiefs injury report. (besides Berry, Moeaki, and Charles of course)

Per NFL Network, the Broncos also had full participation in practice yesterday from everyone.

So, we're the healthiest team in the league when you don't count all our injuries. Got it.

Meh. I was trying to look on the bright side. Our active 46/53 are fully healthy. We just happen to be missing the most important pieces to offense and defense for the entire year. And they aren't on the practice report...So they don't count right now....I guess.

Yeah, we're only missing our most important players on both sides of the ball, other than that, we have no notable injuries...

Other than the little John Wilkes Booth incident, Mrs Lincoln probably really enjoyed the trip to Ford's Theatre.

The proper usage is "So apart from that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was he rest of the play?"

It's much more condescending and appropriately snide this way...

I have never understood why they ignore IR players when it comes to injury reports. That makes a tiny bit of a difference in our case.

They need McClain and Battle healthy.
To win this game we'll have to put some kind of ground game together.

That's retarded.

There are 3 HUGE players on the injury report. They should actually count as 6 players.

We would probably be at least 3-2 right now if we still had those 3...and would be adding Baldwin shortly to help the offense step up even further.

Wondering how many teams have 3 or less people on IR?

Guess the plan is working.

Using that, the Green Bay Packers last year were one of the healthiest teams in football sustaining injuries only to Charles Woodson and AJ Hawk throughout the entire year.

Except for their 8000 starters on IR, that is

We're also really 5-0 if you don't count the three games we got outscored by 100 points
