What was up with the parking lot fireworks going off at the exact same time as the late Chargers fumble?

That was the coolest part of the game.... whoever did that needs a damn medal...

Gotta say, I am usually at Arrowhead but was home tonight. Watching it on ESPN I was blown away by the fan presence and atmosphere coming out of the T.V. and into my living room. Great job, Arrowhead attendees! Looked out of control from the beginning, and I can't remember watching a game on T.V. where I felt the crowd was having a bigger impact.

It was seriously the best game I had gone to in a while. It was just nice to hear the chop Indian chant all through the stadium as people were leaving. I do believe those fireworks had something to do w/ the Rivers fumble. It was looking really bad and the clock was running and then all of the sudden fireworks are going off you look up w/ a "WTF." kind of look, then you look down at the field and Studebaker has a hold of the football.

Seriously, one of the best times I've had in Arrowhead.

I could have gone w/out the guy pissing on the windows near the concession stand near section 322 however.

I have to point out that Kendrick Lewis has set the tone twice for the defense.

My buddy turned to me and said "Let's get the hell out of here". I said let's watch one more play, never know what might happen. That one more play was the fumbled snap.

Should've seen the people come running back down the aisles

Voice is mostly gone. My favorite part of the game was watching the Chargers sidelines after the Rivers fumble. One of the defensive players took his helmet and slammed it into the grown and it looked like broke it. Several players bent over like they had just gotten punched in the stomach. You knew they were done.

I've been fighting a cold for a week or so now, so I had a scratchy ass throat to begin with. By the end of the game, I sounded like a 90 yr old woman that has smoked for 70 years.

I disagree with the earlier poster regarding the volume at the respective monday night games - this year was louder than last year, IMO. That's the loudest I've ever seen Arrowhead. I don't recall the mid-90s that well, but it can't get a hell of a lot louder than it was last night.

It was epic. It was louder than 82,000 at Notre Dame v. USC, it was louder than the Cardinals playoff games I've been to. It was an incredible atmosphere.

Anyone know much about live event sound recording? How can we hear the crowd so clearly on tv and not the music? You can clearly hear the chanting after scoring, but no music at all. Is that a directional microphone thing? Point toward crowd and away from PA speakers or something? It was kind of cool.

Today is a rough one for certain. No voice at all and still have a headache.

I think it was louder than last year by far (not 90s level, but it was pretty damn good)

We were in line at the gates to get in at about 1:30ish and got home about 2:45 this morning. Thankfully I had already taken today as a sick day too.

It's because:

1. The team is good.

2. They started out the game HOT

To me, this was the third loudest I have heard Arrowhead.

#1. The no punt playoff loss to the Colts. The thundersticks took the entire thing to a new level, one that I have never experienced before or since.

#2. Inagural Thanksgiving Night game against the Broncos. Arrowhead was amped up that night.

#3. Halloween 2011

It could have been much louder if we had kept up that 1st qtr pace.

Bend, don't break defense tends to drain the intensity.

Although it did amp up in the end. Glad to see so few people leave early.
