They don't have a outstanding team but the league as a whole is probably the most balanced top to bottom in the nation.

I heard they have the most bowl eligible teams in the nation... just another season where some say it's a lot of depth and others look at it as a lot of mediocrity. And in most seasons, it ends up being the latter, even though the media slobbers over the conference like it's the former.

keg in kc
11-12-2011, 06:51 PM
I would say the big 10 has a ton of average- to above-average teams this year, and a lot of them areyoung. It's not like it has been recently. The conference looks to finally be on the upswing. I think they should be competitive in their bowl games. They just don't have a title contender (Wisconsin should have been).

Not that I think many other conferences have legitimate title contenders. To me t's basically Alabama and LSU on tier 1 and then everybody else. I don't really think anybody from any other conference would stand a chance against either one of them. I don't really see anything that would separate the pac 10 or the big 12 from the big 10. And I think they'll all be competitive with the 2nd tier sec teams, with the possible exception of Arkansas (think they could be a tough matchup for anyone).

True. It's not a Jay Cutler or Aaron Rodgers arm. But he is typically pin point accurate. Mobile. Smart. And his arm strength is good enough. Above average I'd say.

I've been studying him since the end of his Freshman year. But I have a theory on Andrew Luck in the NFL. I'm not going to say anything until the draft order is official though. At that point I will discuss.

He is great, but he doesn't have the power arm I would like to have in a qb. He has a very strong arm, but if I'm trading that much away, I'd like him to have all the intangibles plus a canon.
