I'm thinking of signing up.

Is it true that with the NFL Ticket that there are watchable football games shown at noon on Sundays?

I won't lie - I've been watching the red zone channel primarily since the Vikings game.

I keep the Chiefs on the little picture in picture.

You have two receivers at the room you watch in just for that?

No, not just for that. I take advantage of my setup on Sundays though. I don't give my full attention to the Chiefs though. They get that little window. That's all they deserve.

If you're serious, be sure to sign up with a referral from someone.

I work for a retailer and would donate half my commission to the site. I work too far to do the install so we would oe it to the local Directv office to install.

All costs would be identical to if you order through the 800 number.

You shouldn't waste it on that. Bring in another TV and hook it up to that if you are spending an extra $5 a month. I do that and steal cable for the 3rd TV. This way I don't have to suffer through just the Chiefs games. Also my friends wouldn't come over if they were only there to watch the Chiefs game.

Don't have another TV. In any case, it wouldn't be worth it.

Maybe not for the Chiefs game, but you could enjoy two other games at once.

Red zone is enough.

You don't have to pay full price.

There are ways around that. It's well documented here.

I don't know if you are serious or not but I would hold off until the first of the year. I hear DTV is going to release a super HD DVR, HR34, a 1TB DVR that can record up to 5 shows at once and has built in PIP and in house DVR service. MSRP $400 IIRC but I bet when they release it new sign ups get it for free.

Heh, you would be one of the few paying full price around here, if that's the case. Do a Direct TV thread search.

I'd be lost without other games to watch,in fact there's been weeks when KC gets demoted to one of the small screens because I'm watching real football on the big screen.

bumping this thread to not start a new one about this subject.

I just called Direct TV, ready to cancel. Not bluffing either. My bill is $105 with the Sunday Ticket and I wasn't getting redzone today, which surprised me and made me angry.

I was ready to cancel, I don't want to spend this money to watch this piece of shit team. I was totally ready to just go back to netflix and no cable TV.

But at least I got my bill down $17 per month for next 3 months and got redzone for free.

If you sign up this year it is free. May have to start watching other teams to see some decent football

next year could be anywhere from 190-320 depending on what they do.
The price was cut this year.

But as of now-$170 is a lot to watch these losses. good thing the weather is nice and I can do things outside.

Turned off the last two games. and many blowouts in the past.
