Hosmer finished 3rd behind Mark Trumbo. Nice work for a partial season.

That's okay. I prefer to stay away from the curse of Bob Hamlin and Angel Berroa.

Hosmer should have been 2nd over Trumbo.

I'm glad he lost it to Hellickson and not Trumbo.

In five years, when Trumbo is another short-term power flameout and Hosmer is a perennial all-star, who really cares?

Hellickson is at least a beast... rather see someone like that get it than Trumbo.

Hopefully we can start looking to compete for something more important than individual awards in the near future.

I am pretty sure that Hosmer would have won it had he played the whole season in the majors. Oh well, it wont affect his potential dominance.

He played in 128 games.
