Sorry to make another thread about my PC build, but I was afraid it would get overlooked in the other one. PLEASE GOD let this be the last one I burden you all with.

I am having an issue that I can't figure out. I have the computer booting and everything seems OK. POST beep, motherboard splash screen. BUT, when I try to hit a key to go to the BIOS to boot from disk, nothing happens. It just sits on my splash screen and won't respond.

It's a USB keyboard and I've tried every USB port I have. I've tried inserting the Windows disk with hopes it would boot from the disk automatically but no luck.

Any ideas? Pointers? Any help would be amazing about now.

I've got a friend bringing over a couple different keyboards tomorrow just in case, but that seems like a weird problem unless my new keyboard is just defective. Worth a shot, but I thought I'd see what else you guys got.

Assuming its a desktop..... only use the rear usb slots. If you have a card reader remove it.

Try PS/2 port if your MB has one.

Yeah, this is my next step. I'm stuck at work for the next 8 hours, though.
