Historically, for as long as I remember, the Chiefs tend to suck against shitty teams, and thrive against good teams....why? Who gives a shit.
Anyway, I am fairly confident that the Chiefs will win this week? Why? Let me break it down to you.
1. Palko.
2. Monday Night Football.
3. Holiday week.
4. My girlfriend sent me a nudy photo.
Therefore, in lieu of all of those.......I am placing $10.00 on the Chiefs to WIN outright on my sports betting account.

IIRC, they've beat one or two teams that were within a game of .500 during the Haley regime.
The last time I remember them beating a really good team was in 2007 against the Chargers.
Chargers went to the AFC Championship game that year, but started really slow, as usual.

How do we know this? Have we seen him play with the first team starters and an opened up playbook? Have we seen him on the field after a few weeks to gel with the rest of the offense? Have we seen if the rest of the team will back him up and play hard when he is in a leadership position?

Man. We haven't beaten a good team in a long, long time. At least, it seems that way to me.
The one that emerges in my mind's eye is the Ravens game on Monday Night way back when ... that was the one where all the pundits were caught up in a kind of daisy-chain of endless praise for that drive-by, ass-cappng linebacker dude. And that was, of course, before our kidney made him cry on national television by repeatedly flattening his felonious ass one-on-one.
It's probably my increasingly poor memory, but I have trouble recalling a lot of games where the Chiefs played and defeated a very highly regarded team.
