How could you not, I have nothing invested in the guy. Reminded me of an old SNL skit where a line of 'red shirts' kept coming on stage, only to be shot, or hit with an arrow, before they could deliver their message.

We missed it while watch Tebow but when we turned back I saw him on the sidelines having his finger hurt and I said 'omg, did he go in and get hurt his first series while we were watching Tebow?' Imagine my shock when I heard it was the first PLAY.

Did not laugh but I did say the Chiefs need to hire an exorcist or a good witch or something that can cleanse evil spirits and mojo...

Can Orton come back from a dislocated finger and play again today? I've played FB after a dislocated finger but then again I'm not trying to throw a ball around.

I imagine it would be very, very difficult. More importantly, it's reckless. Fingers are injuries that have to heal perfectly. I think the responsible thing for the Chiefs to do is to say "absolutely not."

Yes. I was also kind of glad that I wouldn't have to watch Orton on this team either.

It reminded me of the opening scene of Any Given Sunday when the backup QB goes in and gets hurt on the first play. Unfortunately for us, we don't have Jamie Foxx as our third stringer. Our third stringer is inactive.

I think the fact that the Chiefs almost beat Pittsburgh last week and could beat Chicago this week with Palko at QB...

That tells you a lot about how little Cassel did for us.

O.city
12-04-2011, 02:07 PM
It was talked about earlier in the year, but so far on this brutal stretch with a legit quarterback I think we probably are atealst 2 and 1 possibly 3 and 0.

That speaks alot about the talent on this team. We are lacking in 1 spot.

Nope, I just shook my head and told my wife that this team is cursed.

It's not a curse when the offensive playbook has 400 screens and draws in it but they decide to run a FLEA FLICKER on Orton's first snap.

These coaches are HORRIBLE - I almost think they did it on purpose so that Palko won't be challenged the rest of the way.

Laughed when he got hurt.
Really laughed at the hail mary.
Got annoyed at the missed fg.
Got pissed at the INT in the red zone by Hanie.
Realized we are going to win 6 games for no reason when the game ended.

Also funny, Cowboys kick a game winning FG only to have the HC of dallas calls a time out and ice there own kicker & result was loss in OT. LMAO Funny.

I was sort of dumbfounded for a moment, then I remembered that Arrowhead is built atop an ancient Indian graveyard so it all made sense.

I was also kind of irritated that we weren't awarded a safety in that game. How was that even possible?

I didn't laugh hysterically, but my uncle did. I told him shortly after that Haley should just put in Rick Stanzi. Their playoff hopes are almost completely shot, and I doubt Stanzi could do any worse than Palko right now.

My Wife and I laughed hysterically. Seemed like Chiefs fashion. She is a born and raised Texan, but told me she loves watching the Chiefs with me and has became quite a fan because she never knows whats going to happen. She finds Chiefs football to be about the most bizarre thing one could watch. The Orton thing fit the bill.
