Just curious if there are any that post or lurking.
Watching a fascinating program on Pearl Harbor right now and it got me wondering if any planeteers served through it.

Most are in they're mid to late 80s by now. So I doubt it.

Im a little too young to have served during WW2 but Ive spent quite a bit of time on Hickam AFB, Ft Shafter and on Pearl itself. Its crazy to see the bullet strikes still on some of the buildings. Maybe because I'm a former sailor but the Arizona memorial is one of the most emotionally striking places I've ever had a privilege to visit.

Lemme see. Japan surrendered 08/15/45. Some vet who was 16 years old at that time (long shot but it's possible) would be 82 years old now. I really don't think any of them are on here.

I went to the Arizona Memorial summer of 2010, it is extremely humbling. I don't have the words for it.
I plan to go back. It's just something that puts life and history into perspective.
