Im not oblivious to the coaching carousel the owners of this league try to pass off as effort to win more games. Anyone knows it near impossible to have a winning franchise when you are rebuilding a team every three years. However, by putting a facelift, or a new face altogether on the organization, it lends itself to better ticket sales. Its painfully obvious since your father passed that its ticket sales, and not more consistant winning is what you are more interested in. Its obvious because you lead the league in cap space every season since.

No one expects you to throw money out the window for no reason. However, when you talk of lack of depth, and a need of a better roster, it all goes back to money, not coaching.

Just so you understand, I agree with the Todd Haley decision. But the stands will continue to be empty if you think your going to polish a turd and use Haley as a scapegoat while you come in some 40 million under again this year. We have the worst team in the league right now because its the cheapest one you could put together. Time for you to do what you preach. If you want me buying season tickets again and paying full price for a seat, then its time for you to pony up too.

Does anyone else agree?

I think next year they gotta spend x% of the salary cap. ?

He's cheap yet he was willing to pay Pioli's salary?
He's cheap yet he's spent close to $100,000,000 retaining core players?

i'd say 70 to 80 percent of that space would go into deciding on whether to resign in house guys to long term deals

who is up

Bowe?
Carr?
Dorsey?

all within when you have to spend the x% the following season? I think it needs to be seen whether its worth it to pay these guys or then go out and make the splash investment elsewhere

had they splashed first. they would be screwed and most likely have no chance or room to have the option to even consider locking these guys up

If he has 40 million left over after signing our guys, then he needs to go out and do more to build the team. Im not saying let a bunch of good players go, to find others somewhere else. That woiuld be stupid.

Are you saying you like leading the league in cap space every season? If so, vote accordingly.

We have had more cap space left over than any other team since his father passed. So yes. Cheap.

He's cheap yet he was going to charge firemen to pay for tix to solute 9-11.
He's cheap yet he'll only spend 4 mil to get Jeff Fisher when it'll take 5 mil.
He's cheap yet his teams have been at the bottom in payrool the last few seasons.

I don't feel like looking it up myself, but sports talk in the Tampa area has the bucs as the cheapest team in the NFL. It scares me how similar the Chiefs & yucks are :(

Could this be a sign that he will sell the team after that and is padding his wallet while he can? Something to ponder, perhaps.

Then 35 votes/signatures (so far) is going to change everything at Arrowhead.

I'm sorry but I have to think of it as more stupid poll is stupid.

No offense personally.

I've never understood that. Do you think God goes into a Seven 11 in heaven and says "hey these twinkies look good" and gets refused at the check out because he left his wallet in his other pants? I'm betting he has a tab that can be paid whenever. I'd guess his credit is good.

Something that was reported on 610 and 810 yesterday. Don't know how factual it is but if it is true then those two coaches are out.
