Flavored Vodka - Homo, or No Homo?

Recently I noticed an influx of vodka's on the market lately. I don't know why they have become so popular, but I find some of the flavors very interesting.
We've all seen Raspberry, Vanilla, Cherry, Citrus, Pepper and Apple flavored Vodka's. That's nothing new, really. (As a matter of fact, I was thinking of infusing some good vodka with Pepper).

What I'm referring to are some of the interesting and non-conventional flavors I've seen at the local market as of late...

I've seen the the following:

Cake
Icing
Cotton Candy
Chocolate
Cucumber
Espresso
Banana
Butterscotch
Gummy Bear, (Seriously, I shit you not)
Root Beer
Whipped Cream

I'll admit to it, I tried the Cake one and the Icing one...
It was weird, really. You could taste the Vodka but it was fairly faint. I am also going to admit it, I thought it was pretty good, (not great but good).
Two or three of those mixed in some coke and you're feeling pretty mello.

I'm not a huge vodka fan, really. I prefer a nice glass of Glenlivet on occasion over just about anything.

Now then, I used to drink, I mean DRINK. I could hold my booze with the best of them. I was a Beer drinking fatass but about a year or so ago I got tired of it and quit. (lost 40 lbs. too)

Now I just have an occasional drink, (once a week or so) to help relax etc.

So, what say you? Have you tried any of these? What did you think of it?
If you drink it, is it Homo, or no Homo?

My wife picked up some of the whipped cream flavored vodka. It wasn't bad....but it wasn't something that I would drink on a regular basis.

But seriously, I generally drink Morgan Cokes or Vodka Sours if i plan on drinking hard shit, which is almost never.

For while, I was making Mary's with black pepper vodka and that sriracha sauce. Awesome. I also grew some Carribean red hot peppers this summer and those make a nice garnish.

For now, I prefer espresso with liquor rather than liquor with espresso, if that makes sense.

Of course, I drink about 20 shots of espresso a day. ROFL

Infusions are getting big in the cocktail scene (have been for a while really), and that's why these people are starting to mass market these "infused" liquors. That being said, it's way cooler to order a house specialty cocktail made from their own homemade infused liquour than some shitty Smirnoff Wedding Cake vodka.

I have noticed that as I have gotten into my mid 20's that my tolerance is up (more drinks to get drunk) but my recovery ability is extremely diminished. I just feel wrecked the next day compared to when I was 19 or 20 and could booze all night then again the next afternoon for a football game or something.
