Well back in the 80's I was a bit of a pothead, liked those speckled birds and a Quaalude from time to time when I could afford them.

Back when R8ers was young and stupid (High School) we would purchase these from a local drug dealer in the trailer park I lived in. This was like 1980-1982.

Later I find out the guy we use to buy from got stabbed in the back multiple times and his body was dumped in the woods.(1993)

I found the newspaper clippings of the crime on Google and it said they know who did it, even went as far to say 100% sure but they said they didn't know if they had enough to convict him.

How would you go about finding info on the case?

Look up the court in the county of jurisdiction. Some states have free searchable sites. I think there might be one at the state level as well.

If you're really that interested then run down to whomever is responsible for the records and request a copy of whatever has been made available to the public. Then go die in an aid tree.

Actually this. I doubt they'd have records that old available online. Proceedings are typically public record, so you should be able to look at it, or obtain copies (usually for a small price).

Dying in a AIDS tree is bad for your FICO score.

Determine which court the case was tried in and contact the court clerk.

The Rottweilers ate my tires in this split level, five years ago. Now, they just pee in the pool, inopportunely. The HOA is always on my ass; the jackposts just can't make up the diff, and the dogs just keep bitin' the code enforcement folks, after they get a good humpin'.

I'm sure you can relate to that.

BTW, thanks for the Crisco .gifs.

You are always welcome here. Just ease up on the TO's.

Surely there are some women you know from the old neighborhood that still live there. Ask them. The way that women gab, the story they have come up with may not be true, but it will be a hell of a lot more entertaining

You could go back to where you dumped the body and just ask around. Somebody should know something.
